A bespoke training course for parents and carers based on Catch Up® Literacy

What is Catch Up® Literacy – Supporting Reading?
Catch Up has developed a bespoke training course, based on the original Catch Up® Literacy intervention, to enable parents and carers to support their child’s reading skills in the home setting.

The training focuses on proven and positive strategies around how to share a reading book or text with a child, building their confidence and enjoyment when reading and supporting the improvement of their reading skills.

The training takes place as a stand-alone, 3-hour live online course, facilitated by one of our Catch Up® Accredited Trainers.

Parents and carers who book to attend receive a training booklet, all the paperwork required, guidance on which books/texts to use and ongoing support from the Catch Up team.
